Welcome to Period Tools (periodtools.com). By using this website you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree with any part, please stop using the site.

1. What this site is

Period Tools is a free reference website offering calculators and informational content related to cycle health, lifestyle, and general planning. It is not a medical service. The calculators provide estimates and educational information only.

2. Not medical advice

Nothing on Period Tools is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The calculators are planning aids based on published formulas and conventions. For questions about your health, fertility, or medications, always consult a qualified healthcare provider.

3. Accuracy and warranty

We make a good-faith effort to keep formulas, content, and references accurate. Even so, Period Tools is provided “as is” with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee results from any calculator or recommendation, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on this site.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to circumvent access controls or security measures
• Scrape the content in bulk for republishing without our written permission (a single citation with attribution is welcome)
• Misrepresent Period Tools or its outputs in any context

5. Intellectual property

All site content — text, layouts, design, code, and original images — is owned by Period Tools or its licensors and protected by copyright. Calculator formulas themselves are based on public-domain medical or mathematical conventions. You may cite short excerpts with a clear link back to the source page.

6. Affiliate links and ads

Period Tools does not currently use affiliate links. If we add them in the future, we will disclose it clearly, and any such link would only ever earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. We may display ads served by Google AdSense and other partners; ad content is the responsibility of the advertisers, not Period Tools.

7. Period Tools Pro: subscriptions, billing & refunds

Every calculator, tracker, and guide on Period Tools is free forever and needs no account. Period Tools Pro is an optional paid subscription that adds a private cycle tracker, backed up and synced across your devices (and ad-free browsing).

• Pricing & renewal. Pro is $4.99/month or $19.99/year, charged securely through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime. Cancel from your account in a couple of clicks. Cancelling stops all future charges; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds. If you are not happy, email us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it, no hassle. After 14 days, cancelling stops future renewals but past charges are non-refundable. A refund is returned to your original payment method and ends Pro access.
• No lock-in. No setup fee, no cancellation fee, and no lifetime contract — and the free tools never go away if you cancel.

8. Privacy

Our handling of any data is described in the Privacy Policy. Calculators run in your browser; your inputs are not sent to our servers.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll bump the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new Terms.

10. Eligibility and age

Period Tools is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and over (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EU/UK). The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you are under the applicable age, please use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Cycle, fertility, and pregnancy topics are sensitive — younger readers should talk to a parent, guardian, or healthcare provider.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Period Tools, its operators, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its calculators. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the site.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Period Tools is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
